The Student Ambassadors to the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will be a select group of students who have exemplified academic success and leadership within the college and at FAU. Student Ambassadors are highly motivated and committed students who embrace what it means to be a part of the Arts and Letters community. This is a prestigious group for students interested in gaining valuable leadership experience and growing their network through connecting with esteemed alumni, faculty, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Represent the college and the Dean’s office as a liaison to future, current, and past Owls
- Assist with various duties and tasks at college performances and special events
- Conduct tours to prospective students
- Participate in outreach initiatives
- Contribute to social media initiatives, including creating reels, sharing photos, and posting stories, to enhance the college's online presence
- Attend meetings and/or training
- Perform any additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Enrolled as an Arts and Letters student major/minor
- Completed two semesters at FAU
- Maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Full-time or part-time student status
